Have any of you seen the trailer for daybreakers which is coming out in January - it looks fab.
There are a couple of other post apocolyptic films coming out in Jan - The book of Eli with Denzil Washington and The Road. Still don't think I could watch The Road at a cinema though I need to be alone for that one!!

I saw the trailer for daybreakers and thought it looked good as well, an interesting take on Vampire's. The Road looks great, hope they don't change the story to much! Haven't seen much on The book of Eli, so will look on the net tonight.
By the way, me and the Mrs watched New moon. I thought it was good, but liked the first one better. This one was more for the ladies i.e the lack of T-shirts lol!Posted 9 months ago # -
I found a Twilight DVD in my 11 year old's bedroom at the weekend - I was gutted. I thought we'd done a good job of bringing her up right. And now it turns out she's getting all the books for Christmas... Fortunately she's also reading Autumn, so hopefully the two will balance each other out.
I saw the Daybreakers trailer last week and yes, it looks good. Willem Defoe is always cool. I've heard a lot about the Book of Eli too. Could be good. It has a decent twist...
I just got the best film of 2009 (by a long stretch) on Blu-ray and have been watching it virtually on repeat. If you haven't yet seen Moon, make sure you do.

Haven't watched Moon - must do so. I'm looking forward to some decent releases in the new year, January is usually so dreary!
I forgot about all the shirtlessness in new moon Aaron!! Thought Michael Sheen was fab as Aro, Eclipse will be a cracker lots of vampire/wolf action. Don't worry Dave I've read all the twilight books but this hasn't turned me, your girl will be one of us! How great for her to be able to read a book her dad wrote, she must be so proud. My daughter is 10 and her ambition when she grows up is to be an author writing childrens fantasy books. She loves writing stories and poems now and is already really good.Have either of you seen Charlie Higsons new book The Enemy its bloody excellent, I'm sure you'd love it!

I picked up a copy of The Enemy in Waterstones the other day, and tried to persuade Becca to let me buy it for her. She was most insistent on reading Twilight first...
My daughter's exactly the same, Dawn. Always reading or writing something. That's great - it's just how I started.
