21st November 2003 - Keeping in Touch
I am notoriously bad at keeping people informed with what's happening with my writing. I've made a couple of changes which will, hopefully, improve the situation. Firstly, the small addition at the top of this page will, once you've submitted your email address, advise you whenever these news pages are updated. The service, provided by ChangeDetection is safe and the company operates a strict privacy policy. Secondly, I've started a 'blog'. More for my benefit that anyone else's, the blog will allow me to pour out any frustration, anger, thoughts, suggestions etc. as well as providing me with a quick means to keep people updated with the development of AUTUMN: PURIFICATION.
21st November 2003 - TRUST
TRUST is getting a lot of interest at the moment. "For the alert, attentive reader, Trust is rife with revelations and rather powerful questions that one simply might not expect from an "alien invasion" novel. The story is creative and well-crafted, and even the inevitable nods to convention are handled deftly and with enough intelligence to keep them interesting... 2nd November 2003 - AUTUMN: PURIFICATION
A first glimpse of the final AUTUMN novel is now available. The short (about 140k) flash film will, I hope, give an insight into the direction of the book which will be released in late 2004. Click here to watch.

You can now purchase my novels in .pdf, .lit and .kml formats - click here for more information. CD-ROM versions of the novels are also available. Supplied in DVD cases with full colour artwork, the discs contain all three ebook formats and are signed.

5th October 2003 - It's been a while...
It's been a while since the site has been updated. The summer has been spent working on AUTUMN: PURIFICATION. More ebook versions of the original AUTUMN novel have recently been added to the site (click here) and more ECHOES have been added to www.theinfected.co.uk. A full update and the first previews of AUTUMN: PURIFICATION will be available soon.

14th June 2003 - 28 days later
Over the last few months I've received a number of emails about the film '28 days later'. I'd like to point out that this film has absolutely no affiliation with the AUTUMN books whatsoever. There are some similiarities in tone and setting but, apart from the initial premise of the country being ravaged by a deadly disease, the stories are very different. Just for the record, if you haven't yet seen the film, do! It is an excellent piece of work. Beautifully shot, well acted and thoughtfully put together. Also for the record, the very first rough draft of AUTUMN was written in 1995 and the present version of the book was produced in 2001, well before 28 days later appeared!

The site includes exclusive access to AUTUMN: ECHOES - a collection of short pieces designed to expand and enhance the AUTUMN series in advance of the release of the final novel AUTUMN: PURIFICATION next year.
