Regular readers here will know that Wayne Simmons and I often sign as a double-act. Wayne’s a good friend and a superb writer, and it’s always a pleasure to be in his company. We’ve been working on some events for the remainder of this year, and it’s starting to feel like we’re going out on tour! David Naughton-Shires – one of our resident graphics experts – got over-excited and produced the great banner I’ve reproduced above, and with his help we’ll be hitting the road equipped with T-shirts, flyers, flags and whatever else we can get our hands on. All the dates are UK only at the moment (cost and time prohibits any overseas trips right now), so if you’re around, please come along…
- 18th August (note – that’s a week on Saturday!) – Waterstones, Hereford
- 14th September – 80′s Alternative Festival – Billing Aquadrome, Northampton
- 31st October – Halloween at Waterstones Cheltenham (with Adam Baker, Joseph D’Lacey and other authors to be announced)
- 2nd November – Autumn: Horror in the East – Aspire Centre, Lowestoft
- 24th November – Waterstones, Hull
- 8th December – Waterstones Swindon
