If I’m honest, I’m a little embarrassed about this after the build-up we’ve been giving to Grimm as the UK premier. What I’m going to tell you now is something that was arranged by the film’s distributors and I only found out about it a couple of days ago. On one hand I feel pretty awkward (particularly for those of you travelling to Grimm), but on the other hand, I’m really pleased because anyone in the UK will be able to watch the film much sooner than they’d probably have expected.
The AUTUMN movie will be shown on Zone Horror (Sky 319, Virgin Media 170, Freesat 138), on Saturday 24th October at 10:55pm. It’ll be repeated the following evening.
I hope many of you will watch it and enjoy it. As I’ve said previously, if you’re looking for a traditional zombie flick full of blood and guts, violence and flesh-eating then you’ll be disappointed. If you’re looking for something different… something creepier and more introspective, something unsettling as oppose to something repulsive… then you should enjoy the movie.
I’ll be posting another AUTUMN blog later this week. I hope many of you will enjoy the movie (either this weekend on TV or next weekend at Grimm) and that you’ll come back here when you’ve seen it to let me know what you thought.

Could always travel up to Hamilton Ontario on saturday(3pm, Gore Park) and see our screening (with a Q&A from the director! )

The question is, can I keep myself from watching it on sky? Luckily I’ve got a poker game on that night so I think I will be ok. I am pleased that it’s getting shown on TV though;>

That trailer looks fantastic. I’m looking forward to seeing the film on Saturday. (Grimm was out of the question – even ignoring how far it is from home, I’m actually out of the country at the time).

No, that wasn’t me. That was a guy called Daniel, one of the dedicated zombie extras who turned up night after night after night on the movie. He’s a great guy who played various zombies in various stages of decomposition.
My appearance on the film occurs when Michael goes outside to switch off the generator when the dead first begin to regain their senses. I think it’s about an hour in.
From a personal selish viewpoint, this is brilliant news! I’ll definitely be watching it on Sky with popcorn at one side and a shandy bass on the other.
